Spring Hopes Eternal

Weather forecast for the first day of Spring: 3 inches of snow

Welcome to life in the Greater Jeremy Area.  You're going to have snow well into April.

So, here we are in what is arguably the greatest time of year, Spring.  It's when birds chirp, things turn green, things can actually get to plant stuff, you clean everything, and you finally get to go outside for something other than to shovel the driveway.  It's great times.

Of course, you have to wait for all of these things.  Ostensibly, March is supposed to go out like a lamb, meaning that it will actually be warm by the end.  While this is great news, it means that this is when everything only starts to melt and unearth itself from the winter garbage snow.

Of course, this also assumes that March decides that it is, in fact, going to go out like a lamb.  That will not be the case here, as we've had almost a whole week of spring recently, but Mother Nature has decided that's enough for a while.  We're right back to 13 degree temperatures and snow in the forecast for tomorrow, the first day of Spring.  I hate you, Mother Nature.  You owe us a whole crapload of amazing weather this summer to make up for this nonsense.

On an unrelated note, I will be celebrating the first day of Spring tomorrow by not going to work (in addition to the stuff I will actually be doing).  As such, there will be no Sametime Status tomorrow.  But, fret not!

Have we got a treat for you!

Next week will be Theme Week!  Five full days of silliness designed to educate and entertain you.  It'll be something to look forward to while you're lamenting the loss of your Sametime Fix on Friday.  Enjoy the beginning of Spring...we've earned it.
